Today is Eat What You Want Day. This worked out very well for me, as there was a bake sale at work today as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life. My contrabution to this fundraiser was a pan of bars. I made Blonde Brownies. I got this recipe from my Aunt Rebecca and it is by far the best recipe for Blonde Brownies I have ever found.
Melt 2/3 c. margerine
Add 2 1/4 c. brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Sift 2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 pkg. chocolate chips
Mix well and spread in jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
These brownies have great flavor and are soft and chewy. I have had several friends ask for the recipe and have enjoyed sharing these with my friends and co-workers. Also this recipe is really quick and easy. Enjoy!
So this jelly roll pan, it looks like a cookie sheet. What is the difference??
ReplyDeleteIt is a cookie sheet. A jelly roll pan is basically a big coookie sheet with sides.
